Social Media Policy

The Company and the companies of the Company Group shall comply with the following fundamental matters in participating in social media and operating the official account of the Company and the companies of the Company Group:

1. Attitude in participating in social media

  • We respect each position of all the parties concerned with the Company Group, such as our customers, business counterparties, and employees of the Company and the companies of the Company Group and strive to communicate with all of you with an attitude of attentively listening to the opinions of all these parties concerned. In sharing information through social media, while constantly aware of the fact that a large indefinite number of users around the world are able to access social media, we participate in social media with a sincere and moderate attitude.

2. Principles of action

  • (1) Do not disclose personal information or confidential information
    (2) Comply with related laws and regulations and in-house rules
    (3) Prohibit the act of infringing rights, in other words, an intellectual property right, such as a copyright
         of a third party, portrait right, or moral right
    (4) Constantly conscious of contributing correct information
    (5) Do not make any comments containing illegal content or malicious slander
    (6) Understand the characteristics of media and transmit information responsibly

3. Disclaimer

  • (1) The Company shall not assume any responsibility for the contents contributed by users.
    (2) The Company shall not assume any responsibility for the damage caused by a problem between users
         or between a user and a third party.
    (3) With regard to the texts, software, music, voices and/or sounds, photos, graphics, videos, page
         layouts, designs, and any other content contributed by users to the official account, the users shall
         contribute them only after confirming that they are protected by each copyright, trademark right or
         any other right of ownership or laws.
    (4) The Company as the operator and the companies of the Company Group shall not assume any
         responsibility for any damage to a customer caused by such customer’s use of the official account or
         its inability to use it for any reason. In addition, we are not in a position to respond to questions about
         the system operational status of each social media and issues of a technical nature or any questions
         about software functions and utilization methods.
    (5) The operation of the official account may be terminated or deleted without notice.

4. Grounds for deletion

  • The Company expects the users not to contribute such user content that falls under the following and shall, when needed, delete or modify the user content that falls under the following:
    ・Information or contribution not related to each official account
    ・Information or contribution that slanders or infringes the right of a third party
    ・Information or contribution that contains illegal information or obscene content
    ・Unauthorized upload of the software the right of which is protected
    ・Upload of a file that contains a computer virus
    ・Information or contribution the signature or legal indication of which has been deleted
    ・Information or contribution the name of the preparer of which has been camouflaged
    ・In addition, information or contribution deemed inappropriate by the Company in operating the site
